Andy Hargreaves 
Andy is The Thomas More Brennan Chair in the Lynch School of Education at Boston College. He holds an Honorary Doctorate from Uppsala University, Sweden. After teaching and lecturing in England, Andy co-founded and directed the International Centre for Educational Change at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. Internationally he is one of the most recognized presenters in his field and consults within education and educational research globally. He is widely appreciated as an expert, working with governments, foundations, teacher unions and other groups across the world. His work has influenced educational systems worldwide. Professor Hargreaves has been ranked as the sixth most influential scholar in the American educational policy debate by the Journal Education Week. Professor Hargreaves has written widely and his books have received many awards. His most recent books are Professional Capital (with Michael Fullan), Uplifting Leadership (with Alan Boyle and Alma Harris) and The Fourth Way (with Dennis Shirley). His most recent work is concerned with understanding different ways to engage in professional collaboration to achieve broad and bold student learning goals and these new findings and experiences will be focused in his upcoming book Leading From the Middle.
